I absolutely love to do one off commissions and original pieces - the collaboration, step by step or doing a series of works.
I can do bespoke work entirely from scratch or I can work in with a theme I've already done
adding personalized details in to keep costs down.
I also really enjoy the freedom in creating fine art quality limited edition products in various materials including archival Ilford silk papers and breathable 100 % cotton as it is another creative process in itself which produces various products from a simple card to a signed limited edition print to my various limited edition wearables.

Introducing my new book
I recently completed a NEW book of poetry and art. Below you'll find a select few Samples (not in order of book) of some of the work I have written. The book is called "Let's Dream Together."
This book of poems, artworks and illustrations is a reflection of times of change, transition and renewal in family life. I started to explore the essence of my own childhood and similarities I wanted for our children during lockdown and as I examined this further during various transitions, health and family growing needs, the ability to stay connected or to reconnect during times of transition or change became a recurring theme hence the title "Let's Dream Together"
This is not a Children's book. It is a personal journey through the changes of life starting with after lockdown, the wishes for family life and a hope to inspire others experiencing change to connect more fully to what matters, the simpler things in life which provide opportunities to reconnect with ourselves, those we love including the younger people in our lives.
Some of the content is for mature readers
I hope one or some of my poems resonates with the reader on their own journey -
the shifting dreams, the legacies we create and the changes we go through as families and as individuals

My limited edition local area t shirts (created a few of these from my paintings of the area for visiting guests and kids for fun) are printed locally on 100% cotton and can be bought through Hayes Street General Store, Neutral Bay as a limited edition range.
Artist note: I finally did the Christmas t shirt above and card one Christmas- this was from the view of a paddleboarder I saw wearing a Christmas Hat - just had to paint this plus I added the dog as it's so quintessentially Hayes Street Beach with people paddle boarding or kayaking with their 4 legged friends.

Early Beginnings
Growing up in Sydney, I had wonderful creative role models and was inspired by our environment near Sydney Harbour.
Now based on Sydney's Lower North Shore with my family. I hope that my own children each find their own unique creative expressions and connections to place and that they feel as inspired by these similar natural settings as I did as a child.
I spent most of my childhood at one or another of Sydney Harbour's beaches. Sunny Boy Ice blocks (those pyramid ones), pool ponies, a lot of time outside with my friends and brothers. More freedom to explore - more care free times in many ways.
With multi generational ties to the Blue Mountains on my mother's side through the great aunts, I fondly recall extended family get togethers and exploring the Blue Mountains - the pillowy mist, bird song and waterfalls. Also, the vast and expanding countryside of Bathurst and further afield. Alternatively, trips to Avoca: bunks beds, cicadas and surf.
Renowned children's author and artist May Gibbs derived inspiration from both the Blue Mountains and Neutral Bay. Now that I am actively painting (in the last couple of years) and writing just prior and live near her former home "Nutcote", I am in awe of her tenacity and vision over a lifetime. My own creative journey is only really just beginning - at least in it's current mediums : painting and writing.
Both my grandmothers were very creative. Ga was good friends with the renowned Australian artist and children's author Pixie O' Harris and lived near Parsley Bay in Sydney.
